Why not crash-land on Switzerland while it is still in its CLOY glory! Here’s the list of all CLOY destinations we think you would like to visit!

The Bernese Oberland

Switzerland is blessed with a unique and magnificent geography. Starting off your journey at Bern would be the best idea before heading to the Alps. The Bernese Highlands, also known as the Bernese Oberland is popular for the Jungfrau peak and Lakes Thun and Brienz. We welcome you aboard on a casual cruise with us on Lake Brienz that will calm any mind! No wonder Se-ri took it for her peace of mind and heard Jeong-hyeok play for the very first time.

The Charming Alpine Villages

Pack your bags and embark on a journey into nature while being charmed by the simplicity of life in these Swiss villages:

Interlaken is located in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland, which is home to beautiful and panoramic views of the mountains and lakes. The word Interlaken means between lakes. This town is situated between Lake Brienz on the east and Lake Thun on the west and hence the name. Lake Brienz is one of the spots where ‘Crash Landing On You’ was filmed, whereas Lake Thun’s bank has five castles that look like they came straight out of a fairy tale. Interlaken is also popular for winter sports and activities like skiing and tobogganing.

Sigriswil houses the 340-metre long Panorama Bridge, one of the longest hanging bridges in Switzerland. The very same bridge bridge where Ri Jeong-Hyeok’s and Se-ri’s paths crossed for the first time, yes, this is it! Come explore the hanging bridge to experience the magnificent view that it holds along with it!

Iseltwald is another alpine village that is part of the Federal Inventory of Heritage Sites which means it is a protected site for its natural and cultural heritage.

Lake Lungern

This beautiful lake is located in Obwalden, between Interlaken and Lucerne. CLOY fans will always have an image of Lake Lungen in their minds, for this is exactly where Jeong-hyeok and Se-ri kisses and the drama comes to an end.

The place is also home to a number of outdoor activities like hiking, swimming and kayaking. Explore the bounty of the place through the adventurous sporting events and let yourself right into nature’s allure.

Zurich

Munsterbrucke is a bridge over the river Limmat in Zurich that connects the two famous cathedrals: Fraumunster and Grossmunster, both distinctive to the city. In the first trailer of CLOY, Se-ri is seen leaning on the railing of this bridge, staring off into the distance.

Lindenhof is a square in the old town of Zurich, not too far away from Musterbrucke. The fountain with the statue is meant to commemorate the struggle of the women of Zurich in defending their town from the Romans in the 13 th century. The square will be familiar to all CLOY fans for the protagonists are seen crossing this place in one of the show’s opening scenes. Why not visit our favourite restaurant, XYZ at the town square for cheese fondue while we embark to our next trail.

CLOY fan or not, Switzerland is at its best round the year.

Live out your dreams! Buy those airline tickets that you’ve been meaning to for a while, book the Grandhotel Giessbach, explore the local customs, take a cruise on the spectacular turquoise Lake Brienz and enjoy each of the moments life has offered you!
