Let’s discover Switzerland’s beautiful capital city together. Bern offers beautiful views from its various terraces. From Bern’s Rose Garden, there is a magnificent view of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Old City of Bern with all its sights and monuments. On a clear day, the view extends beyond the city to Bern’s local mountain, the Gurten, and as far as the Alps. All the buildings in Bern’s old town have a story to tell. 

From fountains with historical figures, to the Zytglogge, Bern’s famous clock tower, to the building where Einstein lived when he stayed in Bern. We will discover all this during our time together. 

During our walk, we will also admire Bern Cathedral, the largest and most important late-medieval church in Switzerland, not forgetting the Parliament, seat of the Swiss federal government. Who knows, we might even eat an almond bear, a typical Bernese cake.
